Taproot Sign With Victory Records
Taproot have signed a new record deal with Victory Records. The band is currently working on their debut for the label which is due out in the spring/summer of 2010.
Pearl Jam Post “Just Breathe” Video
Video of Pearl Jam performing their track “Just Breathe” live at Austin City Limits is now available on MySpace. The track is the second single from their new record ‘Backspacer‘ which is available now.

Snot Members Form Tons
Tons, featuring Mike Doling, Jamie Miller and John “Tumor” Fahnestock of Snot fame, have streamed two new tracks on their MySpace.
Snot reformed earlier in the year but have since parted ways with vocalist Tommy Vext and guitarist Sonny Mayo.
Adelitas Way Stream New Video Clip
Ember Sign With VSR Music Group
Austin, TX based Ember has signed a record deal with VSR Music Group. The band will begin work on their new album in January with a release expected in the spring of 2010.
Stone Temple Pilots Postpone Tour
Stone Temple Pilots have postponed the remainder of their North American tour to finish up their new record. The disc will be the band’s first since ‘Shangri-La Dee Da‘ in 2001. The disc is due out in the spring of 2010.

Creed DVD Screening Delayed
The theatre screening of Creed’s live DVD, ‘Creed: Live‘, has been pushed back to December 7th. A complete list of participating theatre’s as well as a trailer for the release can be found here.
The seventeen track performance features the band’s hits “My Own Prison”, “Higher”, “My Sacrifice”, “What’s This Life For” and “With Arms Wide Open” and will be in stores on December 8th.

Flyleaf’s sophomore release ‘Memento Mori‘ has debuted at No. 8 on this weeks Billboard Top 200 chart with 56,000 copies sold. Switchfoot’s seventh studio album ‘Hello Hurricane‘ moved 39,000 copies debuting at No. 19.
