Taproot have signed a new record deal with Victory Records. The band is currently working on their debut for the label which is due out in the spring/summer of 2010.

Video of Pearl Jam performing their track “Just Breathe” live at Austin City Limits is now available on MySpace. The track is the second single from their new record ‘Backspacer‘ which is available now.

Tons, featuring Mike Doling, Jamie Miller and John “Tumor” Fahnestock of Snot fame, have streamed two new tracks on their MySpace.

Snot reformed earlier in the year but have since parted ways with vocalist Tommy Vext and guitarist Sonny Mayo.

Behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot of Adelitas Way’s “Invincible” music video is now streaming on YouTube. The full video can be viewed on MySpace.

Austin, TX based Ember has signed a record deal with VSR Music Group. The band will begin work on their new album in January with a release expected in the spring of 2010.

Stone Temple Pilots have postponed the remainder of their North American tour to finish up their new record. The disc will be the band’s first since ‘Shangri-La Dee Da‘ in 2001. The disc is due out in the spring of 2010.

Nickelback will launch a new North American tour with Breaking Benjamin and Shinedown in April 2010, current routing includes:
