Daughtry’s ‘Leave This Town‘ is at the top of this weeks Billboard Top 200 Chart. The album sold more than 269,000 copies and is the bands first No. 1 debut. Rob Thomas’ sophomore solo album ‘Cradlesong‘ comes in at No. 25 moving 24,000 copies. Nickelback moved 24,000 copies of ‘Darkhorse‘ and holds the No. 26 slot.

Green Day sits at No. 28 with ‘21st Century Breakdown‘, Shiendown’s ‘The Sound of Madness‘ moved 17,000 copies holds the No. 35 slot.

The sophomore effort from Sick Puppies, ‘Tri-Polar‘, debuts at No. 41 with 15,000 copies scanned and DevilDriver’s ‘Pray for Villains‘ makes its debut at No. 46 selling 12,000 copies.

The release date for Chevelle’s new album, ‘Sci-Fi Crimes‘, has been moved up one week to September 1st. “Jars”, the first single from the disc, can be streamed on MySpace.
